Little Sissy Babies!

Nanny usually takes care of little boys, and I love them like they were my own. Sometimes, though, I wish I had some little girls in the nursery to play dress-up, have a tea party, and play house. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I settle for something just as fun: I dress my boys up. Once in awhile I will find a little one that delights in playing along. I love that! I have also found that some little boys absolutely hate being done up fancy. Well who would have guessed that something so harmless as ribbon and frill could be so effective in getting bad, rough and tumble little boys to behave? The threat of being all dressed up like that for Nanny’s amusement is all the more terrifying because you know that I will follow through. Behave, or we’re going to play what I want to play! Bad little boys, especially rough boys with bad manners, need to be taught some finesse and Nanny needs to have her fun.   Your Naughty Nanny Ella

The Jumblies

THEY went to sea in a sieve, they did; In a sieve they went to sea: In spite of all their friends could say, On a winter’s morn, on a stormy day, In a sieve they went to sea. And when the sieve turned round and round, And every one cried, “You’ll all be drowned!” They called aloud, “Our sieve ain’t big; But we don’t care a button, we don’t care a fig: In a sieve we’ll go to sea!” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. II They sailed away in a sieve, they did, In a sieve they sailed so fast, With only a beautiful pea-green veil Tied with a ribbon by way of a sail, To a small tobacco-pipe mast. And every one said who saw them go, “Oh! won’t they soon be upset, you know? For the sky is dark and the voyage is long, And, happen what may, it’s extremely wrong In a sieve to sail so fast.” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. III The water it soon came in, it did; The water it soon came in: So, to keep them dry, they wrapped their feet In a pinky paper all folded neat; And they fastened it down with a pin. And they passed the night in a crockery-jar; And each of them said, “How wise we are! Though the sky be dark, and the voyage be long, Yet we never can think we were rash or wrong, While round in our sieve we spin.” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. IV And all night long they sailed away; And when the sun went down, They whistled and warbled a moony song To the echoing sound of a coppery gong, In the shade of the mountains brown. “O Timballoo! How happy we are When we live in a sieve and a crockery-jar! And all night long, in the moonlight pale, We sail away with a pea-green sail In the shade of the mountains brown.” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green, and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. V They sailed to the Western Sea, they did,– To a land all covered with trees; And they bought an owl and a useful cart, And a pound of rice, and a cranberry-tart, And a hive of silvery bees; And they bought a pig, and some green jackdaws, And a lovely monkey with lollipop paws, And forty bottles of ring-bo-ree, And no end of Stilton cheese. Now needless to say i thought of this because he does love being a little sissy and figured some humilation to play into this also would be fun.So i had him to go and purchase a pair of purple flats and he was to wear them the next day all day to work now gets this he walks most of the time to and from work and lunch and wears this very expensive business suit. Then he was to send me a pic of his cute little shoes. adult baby waiting Patiently

As I awaken from my much needed afternoon nap I can see you out of the corner of my eye placing my diapers in the drawer of the changing table. You pick up all the toys from our morning of play and put away the book you were reading me before I fell asleep. As you see me stir you head to the kitchen and bring in a nice warm bottle of milk. I greet you with a warm smile and a wet diaper you smile back at me in that wonderful parental way letting me know that everything is going to wonderful and by the look in your eye how much you love your little abie.   Louie

Where the Sidewalk Ends

There is a place where the sidewalk ends And before the street begins, And there the grass grows soft and white, And there the sun burns crimson bright, And there the moon-bird rests from his flight To cool in the peppermint wind. Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black And the dark street winds and bends. Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And watch where the chalk-white arrows go To the place where the sidewalk ends. Yes we’ll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we’ll go where the chalk-white arrows go, For the young one, they mark, and the young man, they know The place where the sidewalk ends. by Shel Silverstein Minnie
