Thermometers Don’t Hurt

It seems as though you’re not feeling very well today and I think maybe it might be a very good idea to take you to the doctor.  Now I know that you’re very frightened about getting your temperature taken, but I can promise you that it is not going to hurt one little bit.  In fact, I’m going to let the doctor use his very special thermometer to check my temperature first.  That way you can see it doesn’t hurt one little bit.  I will do anything to coddle you and make you feel better.  I just want you to be very happy and healthy.  As always, kisses and love from me to you.
