Let Sleeping Cats Lie

A poet’s cat, sedate and grave, as poet would wish to have, was much addicted to enquire, for nooks to which she might retire, and where, secure as mouse in chink, she might repose, or sit and think. I know not where she caught her trick, nature perhaps herself had cast her, in such a mold philosophique, or else she learn’d it of her master. Sometimes ascending, debonair, an apple tree or lofty pear, lodg’d with convenience in the fork, she watched the gard’ner at his work; sometimes her ease and solace sought, in an old empty wat’ring pot, there wanting nothing, save a fan, to seem some nymph in her sedan, apparell’d in exactest sort, and ready to be borne in court. Abdl Favorite Fantasy

I was just sitting around today trying to put together what all would be included in my ultimate fantasy. A mommy and daddy and another abie. Some diapers and bottles and maybe even a granny or a sitter or two. Any combination of role play could lead to one of my may longings being fulfilled. So what what be included in your abie or sissy fantasy?   Louie

abie for a weekend

If you’re curious about how it could be enjoyable to be Mommy’s baby for her and to wear diapers I invite you to try it for one weekend. Let me baby you and give you instructions on what to do for 48 hours of your life and see how you feel. A good majority of curious abies would be forever babies if they pushed and did the weekend of it to see how they enjoyed it. Get your diapers and bottles and then talk with me and see just how nice it is to let go of everything. It’ll do you some good sugar, to just enjoy yourself for a little while I can understand that you may be nervous, but the worst thing that will happen is you won’t like it and then you can go back to the way you were and know that it isn’t for you.   Mommy Lizabeth

Little Sissy Babies!

Nanny usually takes care of little boys, and I love them like they were my own. Sometimes, though, I wish I had some little girls in the nursery to play dress-up, have a tea party, and play house. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I settle for something just as fun: I dress my boys up. Once in awhile I will find a little one that delights in playing along. I love that! I have also found that some little boys absolutely hate being done up fancy. Well who would have guessed that something so harmless as ribbon and frill could be so effective in getting bad, rough and tumble little boys to behave? The threat of being all dressed up like that for Nanny’s amusement is all the more terrifying because you know that I will follow through. Behave, or we’re going to play what I want to play! Bad little boys, especially rough boys with bad manners, need to be taught some finesse and Nanny needs to have her fun.   Your Naughty Nanny Ella

The Jumblies

THEY went to sea in a sieve, they did; In a sieve they went to sea: In spite of all their friends could say, On a winter’s morn, on a stormy day, In a sieve they went to sea. And when the sieve turned round and round, And every one cried, “You’ll all be drowned!” They called aloud, “Our sieve ain’t big; But we don’t care a button, we don’t care a fig: In a sieve we’ll go to sea!” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. II They sailed away in a sieve, they did, In a sieve they sailed so fast, With only a beautiful pea-green veil Tied with a ribbon by way of a sail, To a small tobacco-pipe mast. And every one said who saw them go, “Oh! won’t they soon be upset, you know? For the sky is dark and the voyage is long, And, happen what may, it’s extremely wrong In a sieve to sail so fast.” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. III The water it soon came in, it did; The water it soon came in: So, to keep them dry, they wrapped their feet In a pinky paper all folded neat; And they fastened it down with a pin. And they passed the night in a crockery-jar; And each of them said, “How wise we are! Though the sky be dark, and the voyage be long, Yet we never can think we were rash or wrong, While round in our sieve we spin.” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. IV And all night long they sailed away; And when the sun went down, They whistled and warbled a moony song To the echoing sound of a coppery gong, In the shade of the mountains brown. “O Timballoo! How happy we are When we live in a sieve and a crockery-jar! And all night long, in the moonlight pale, We sail away with a pea-green sail In the shade of the mountains brown.” Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live; Their heads are green, and their hands are blue; And they went to sea in a sieve. V They sailed to the Western Sea, they did,– To a land all covered with trees; And they bought an owl and a useful cart, And a pound of rice, and a cranberry-tart, And a hive of silvery bees; And they bought a pig, and some green jackdaws, And a lovely monkey with lollipop paws, And forty bottles of ring-bo-ree, And no end of Stilton cheese.
