Coal for Christmas

Christmas, it’s the time of year that you can get coal if you have been a bad boy/girl. I would rather prefer to give spankings that leave red bottoms, I think that they make the point a little more clear.
Do you think that anyone ever really gets coal for a Christmas gift?
